I was born in Igdir in. I'm partly from Eskisehir because that's where my father is from.
I'm a professional baglama (a Turkish stringed instrument) player and also play accordion and tar.I've liked Turkish folk music (Turku) ever since I was in middle school. One day my father surprised me with a saz (baglama) when he returned from vacation. I hadn't touched it for a month, then one day I got curious and I have been playing for the last 6 years. I'm preparing to study at the conservatory.Why Turkish folk music? Because it's the genre I feel closest to, but I listen many other styles of music that sound good to me.I believe I'll have a strong foundation in music thanks to the valuable information and inspiration I get from other musicians that i know.
