I am a composer, folk fiddler, violinist, violist, and whatever else they shove into my hands....Sometimes I'm a techie nerd, fixing other people's computer software issues, an assistant recording engineer, a music teacher, a step dancer or a bodhran player, percussionist or mandolin player...other times I mess around with a sitar or an oud... Okay, so I do a lot of things sometimes. It's a fun life!
I've recently finished a Master's in Music Composition at the Birmingham Conservatoire. I also composed, arranged performed and recorded three CDs with a crazy Italian-latino band called "The Acoustics" in Canada for six years until I moved to Birmingham in September 2006. I also spend time wandering around Canada, the States, Hungary and the Middle East learning to play various styles of folk and contemporary music.
