Here’s a different presentation than expected from the number one Slovenian ex-hip-hop artist called Alien (latter DJ Poha)... Approximately at the age of 23 had a deep experience while using LSD. I ‘met’ Buddha. Physically I was sitting in bed (not roaming around town - NOT SAFE!) in a semi-meditative position. I was at the time a huge fan and reader of Carlos Castaneda’s books and planning to discover the ‘unknown’ with the help of hallucinogenics. So the Unknown came a little different than expected.
There were some friends present, but each of us had it’s own experience. For my part, it was simple. I’ve seen the cosmic truth’ and realized unimportance of body attachment and also my fear of dying disappeared. Somehow also the knowledge from indian yogis passed trough me and I understood how they were able to pierce their skin without any bleeding and no trace of bruises later. It's a mind over matter situation and done fully aware of cosmic rule where all is ETHER and energy flows freely. This amazing discovery by itself seemed very natural to me and I knew that it could be done even without of help of LSD, but one should put much effort into it. Well that was not my path anyway. I get to see Buddha's face morphing into shamanic faces, seeing Hindu Gods, looking like Jimmy Hendrix's album cover and so on. Definitelly an ultimate experience.
Not right after, but ever since, the images seen in ‘dream’ started to somehow come back, so I decided to devote my inner search to develop a connection with Buddha and to other cosmic related states of perception. The goal is in a way to find the direct straight way to experience the same but without the use of LSD, mushrooms etc...
Over the last few years I’ve become more and more aware that classic meditation is the key to success in this direction. The use of substance was just a boost to remove my fixed assemblage point (a la Carlos Castaneda) which also moves 'automatically' while we sleep/dream or, as defined in Buddhistic terminology, raise my consciousness and heighten the energy level. The foundation was laid and my task in a way is to define the missing link or actually to show the connection between Tibetan Buddhism and the knowledge left behind by Jaqui Indians in Mexico (as described, researched and brilliantly used by Carlos Castaneda). The Tibetan legacy and teachings can be found practically everywhere on the web, but I personally prefer books.
