Victory Blvd is a Gainesville, FL 5 piece band that started out as a solo side project of guitarist Patrick Daniel in 2006. In 2007, drummer Alex Klausner and bassist Andy Hendrickson were brought on and it became a 3 piece band.
In 2008, the band brought on a vocalist and began to play shows around the Gainesville area. After parting with that vocalist in favor of another, Victory Blvd added talented multi-instrumentalist Ben Steele to take up keyboards.
The band also focused its sound to play a brand of catchy pop/rock that mixed in elements of space rock ala Angels and Airwaves, and also blended in Killers type synths.
In 2009, the band yet again part ways with their vocalist, and to replace her added local acoustic artist, Camryn Wessner. They went into the studio to complete their 6 song demo. It wasn't long after their first show in Gainesville that they again entered the studio, this time, a studio in Orlando, working with a producer to professionally record their debut EP Heart Beat Faster.
The band continues to play shows around Florida with such acts as The Sophomore Attempt and The Ataris. Keep an eye out for Victory Blvd in your town!
