In 1986, Mr. Dangerous rose from the ashes of two popular East Coast rock bands - Third Wave and The Skanks. The band relocated to Los Angeles in late 1987 and recruited frontman and California native, Joe Brady. For the next four years Mr. Dangerous became a staple on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip music scene, playing to sold out crowds at the Roxy, the Whiskey, the Troubadour and Gazzarri’s.In 2007 Mr. Dangerous signed a deal with Retrospect Records to re-release their 1991 EP. This new extended version EP, comprised of a handful of studio tracks and some recently discovered live recordings, is the first ever CD collection available from one of L.A.’s premier Hair Metal Bands. The new Mr. Dangerous CD is available online at www.retrospectrecords.com.
