I am here for Friends

About Me

How do you sum up a person in 500 words or less? :) I am a scientist to the core (biology is my passion). I love to watch movies, read books, spend time with loved ones, and dote on my beloved pets. I am a romantic at heart, committed to the people I care about, and I love to laugh. In recent months I have been the acting youth leader at my church and I have really loved that. The kids are great and it is an amazing service like none I've ever experienced. If I could choose what people say about me, I'd hope they'd say I am a person who loves people with total abandon.Favorite quotes" "Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever." - Ghandi"The bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn..." One Step Forward.... Two Steps Back

Last night I got an email from Hosea. It was the first communication we'd had for almost five months. After all these years he couldn't let my birthday pass without a word. We've shared birthdays sinc...

Picking Up the Pieces

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to all of you who have rallied around me in the last two weeks. This has been one of the darkest times of my life. The pain that Hosea caused when he gave u...
