About Me

Ed Balduzzi is a singer-songwriter who moved to San Diego in October of 2005 from Syracuse, NY where he had been a performer around Central New York for over 15 years.
The Thicket is the most accomplished band that Ed has been a member of having released three albums in the past eight years. Comprised of Ed Balduzzi and Todd Wetmore on guitars and vocals, Pat Walsh on percussion, and Denise Shuart on viola and vocals, the band has two studio cds - "American Sunrise" recorded in 2000, and "Knock On" recorded in 2005. The Thicket's third album "Live...in the Thicket" was released in late 2007.

Ed Balduzzi's early years performing music consists of piano recitals, concert/jazz band (saxophone), and school concert chorus. He didn't begin playing the guitar until after high-school. At open-mic nights in bars around Syracuse, NY while still under age, Ed began to form a musical bond with Todd Wetmore that has solidified into a songwriting partnership that lasts to this day.
Currently, while living in San Diego, California, Ed has been playing local cafes, open-mic nights, and the occasional party, all while writing new material planned for release in 2008. He has also teamed up with fellow east coaster and percussionist, Elliot Cavicchi, guitarist Mark Wooten, and bassist Bill Schwortz. Together, going by the name "ebb", they have been performing live all over southern California. Check out the myspace site for "ebb"...myspace/ebbmusicflow
