THE COLLECTOR

Hush little baby, dont say a word, And never mind that noise you heard, Its just the beast under you

About Me

I am standing in the corner of your room...I look at you... then at my watch. How much time is left, you might wonder. Only I know the answer to that question and I'm not telling.
Your last conversation will be with me. You will not be frightened. We will walk... and talk about your life. We will go slow for there is no need to rush now. We will relive every moment of your existence. From the second you were conceived until you exhaled your last breath...the breath that whispered my name.
I will ask you if you were pleased with your life. What would you do differently given the chance? I will show you how your friends and family members mourn your death. You might not like what you see. I only show the truth... no lies here. Do you want to know what they are saying? Probably not, but you will. Here, you have no more choices; All your choices have already been made.
I will show you your life as if someone else was living it. You know, like watching a movie. I have a feeling it will be a very bad movie. Most of them are. Don't worry, for I will not pass judgment on you. That is not my job. That will come later after you leave me.
You are probably wondering who I am. I have been called many names. The ignorant call me death. The asinine call me the grim reaper. The total fucktards call me the devil. I am definitely NOT him. He is a nasty sort that I rather not be around. I am simply called The Collector. We can elaborate on who I am later...when we have more time together.
Some souls go to heaven. Some souls go to hell. Some souls even go off to other places. But all souls have one thing in common...they all start their eternal journey with me.
See you soon, The Collector
Death should not be feared because Life can be frightening as hell.
======================================================There are two bodies - the rudimental and the complete; corresponding with the two conditions of the worm and the butterfly. What we call "death", is but the painful metamorphosis.
Edgar Allan Poe, Mesmeric Revelation
The boundaries between life and death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where one ends and where the other begins?
Edgar Allen Poe
I believe there are two sides to the phenomenon known as death, this side where we live, and the other side where we shall continue to live. Eternity does not start with death. We are in eternity now.
Norman Vincent Peale
When you are born, you cry, and the world rejoices. When you die, you rejoice, and the world cries.
Tibetan Buddhist saying
It is not all of life to live, nor yet all of death to die. For life and death are one, and only those who will consider the experience as one may come to understand or comprehend what peace indeed means
Edgar Cayce
To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.
Albus Dumbledore
To be idle is a short road to death and to be diligent is a way of life; foolish people are idle, wise people are diligent.
Buddha
Death is one of two things. Either it is annihilation, and the dead have no consciousness of anything; or, as we are told, it is really a change: a migration of the soul from one place to another.
Socrates
To fear death is nothing other than to think oneself wise when one is not. For it is to think one knows what one does not know. No one knows whether death may not even turn out to be the greatest blessings of human beings. And yet people fear it as if they knew for certain it is the greatest evil.
Socrates
In the democracy of the dead all men at last are equal. There is neither rank nor station nor prerogative in the republic of the grave.
