Here is what some nice people had to say about us :-
"The Black Hand. A guitar rich, groove driven sound, with the gritty, grunge, honesty of the early nineties Seattle sound. In keeping with these obvious influences the Black Hand feature an outstanding level of musicianship, soul, honesty and dedication to their craft".
Pete Brown.:- Songwriter for the 60's power trio 'Cream' and Producer, (Peter Green,Jack Bruce).
"The Black Hand demonstrate all that is right with the current state of Rock & Roll. They are clearly a revival of a not too long forgotten art of setting a pounding groove and then expanding it. A 70's inspired jump back with a modern tinge. Effectively, they make right the style of Free, Cream and a gaggle of other vulnerable rock acts we've come to hold in a higher esteem.
This is a band that has so much promise that you can't wait to hear where they'll take it next. I know I can't and when they do, I'll be listening".
James Lomenzo - Megadeth
"Fat vitriolic riffs laced with whiskey soaked venom, burning with incendiary vocals adding fuel to the fire of the Black Hand"
Ace - Skunk Anansie.
“The Black Hand is the best band to come out of England for Yonksâ€.
Eddie Kramer. Producer, Engineer, (Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin)
“The best band we have ever had play our showcases. Ever!â€
Juliette Avery ‘Gibson Artist Relation’s
" The Loaded gig also gave me a chance to check out The Black Hand, who not too long ago I visited at Abbey Road Studios as they worked on an EP with legendary producer Eddie Kramer (Hendrix, Zeppelin, Kiss). I witnessed the band's 30-minute display, which was an earthy, slightly Southern-tinged blues-rock which comes with lashings of lead guitar. A mid-set rendition of the Free classic 'I'm A Mover' really got the rapidly growing crowd on their side".
