POO..S BIOMy name is Larry Williams AKA Poo Folk. Place of origin is what poo means to me it..s were I started poo as poo can be at least in my eyes. I was born in charlotte North Carolina to a wonderful lady named Pricilla Williams AKA Little bit, at least that..s what everybody calls her. I was a big kid growing up in one of the hardest projects in the Q South Side Homes. As most of us do, that grows up in the hood I was quick mouth and quick witted. I was the fattest dude in the set, but that made no difference to me no one was going to fill sorry for me if any thing I had to look out for ridicule, so I jumped the gun first I was known as one of the best to crack a joke on a nigga in the hood. My mom worked two jobs my whole childhood and partied like she didn't work a day. My mom and I were like brother and sister (with the occasional ass whipping) instead of mother and son. It would be times I called in to work for her and in return she would let me stay home from school. I lived the hood life; I started smoking weed it the age of sixteen that was six years after I sold my first dime of hard. My first pack I jumped the fence on the nigga I told him my mom found it and flushed it down the toilet, but she didn't I just kept it. Hip-Hop has been a big influence in my life. I remember when I was young and the only way I could remember a rap was to write it down and read it over and over again. I use to sneak and listen to NWA and their lyrics were written all in my notebook and my teacher found it and thought they were my own words and she had me in the office called my mom and everything. Music is in my blood I sing just as well as I rap. I had dreams as a child to be a singer but the streets got a hold of me and kept a hold of me to I felt obligated to release it for my own therapy too and GOD gave me the voice to speak to them. I started out in a rap group. We were cool, but we were fake. Cats were speaking on things they only heard about or speaking on it because they heard me talk about it, The people felt that so I had made a decision to try to make a couple of songs on my own and everyone loved them. Time went on and I was just living and one of the members of my group moved to Augusta, Georgia
And meet a man named Anthony Scoe Walker who produced for Bad Boy. My man let him hear some of our cuts and he liked them, but he really was impressed with me and talked about a seminar he was having and I should really think about attending. I knew I could flow, but never to the level that I have achieved. The Bad Boy thing didn't work out, but It gave me confidence in my skills and abilities to keep going and pursue my dreams of making music. That..s where I am today, in my life. Just making good music about my city and my life, and I..m going to keep on rapping and singing until the day I die, Amen.
