ACROSS EMPYREAN
Across Empyrean is Ego HimSelf (vocals) & The Logical (music/production). The story goes that the two met online through mutual respect for each other, musically. Emailing demos back and forth lead to the final culmination that is "Conjuring Philip."
The title is based on a psychological experiment where a fictional profile of a person was composed. This fictional character was given a history and a death. The living involved in the experiment were asked to memorize the life story and fictional personality of "Philip." A seance was performed with the participants asked to 'conjure' the ghostly Philip. Soon enough, to everyone's surprise, paranormal activity began to occur, based on behaviors that were supposedly 'fictional'.
