Please visit WWW.PERROUDIMAGES.COMTim was as surprised as anyone to discover that his junior high school aptitude tests would accurately predict his career, but after the purchase of his first new camera following graduation, it all became clear.Tim’s formal education began at Lansing Community College in Michigan. There he fell in love with the craft of photography and soon enrolled in the Media Studies Institute for Photography. Photojournalistic work interested him first, and he began working for several local newspapers shooting high school sports and editorial assignments.His 1992 enlistment into the U.S. Navy and the Airman Apprenticeship program brought opportunities to photograph the world. His commanding officer appointed him Assistant Recreation Services Officer and photographer for the USS Belleau Wood. Tim traveled to over thirteen countries with the Navy and created a photo archive featuring thousands of stock images.In 1994, he started Perroud Images (www.perroudimages.com). He works with graphic designers, art directors, individuals for portraits, and countless families for weddings and other special events. Between 1999 and 2004, Tim traveled to Haiti on four separate occasions as photographer documenting the volunteer medical work and recreational travels of a local dentist and his family.In 2004, he moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he shoots commercial, industrial, editorial and portraiture for local companies and private residents. Tim resides in Fort Wayne with his lovely wife Mandy, their beautiful new baby boy Ty Dallas, two Jack Russell Terriers, Celie & Jack, and their cat, Momma.
