All Hail! Art!

ALL HAIL! ART!...or else...All Hail! Art! is the working name for the ongoing collaborative projects of Luke Drozd and Andy Moore, two men brought together by a confused desire to make artProject 1. The Tour!All Hail! Art! are currently in the throws of an arts tour, similar to that of a rock band tour but with artwork as the focus instead. We intend to travel the UK spending a few days in each venue/space where we will create and display artwork with the help of the audience of that town. The work will therefore be informed by the space, city and resources at hand.This work will include inpromptu wall drawings, an interactive colouring-in book (people get to colour in pages we have already created, which are then displayed on our ‘Wall of achievement’ and enter the running for the hugely desireable All Hail! Colouring-in! trophy), collaborative artwork created using locally found materials (these could be paintings on books, records or paintings from charity shops in the area or donated items from the public reworked by us), One-off Lapel Art and of course tour merchandise.We also like wherever possible to offer a support slot as it were. Similar to that of a support band at a gig a local artist will be invited to come and work with us, creating work of their own as well as collaborating with us.The whole exhibition aims to engage with the public and encourage them not to be passive. Each exhibition will be different from the last due to the different audiences venues and facilities and there inut therein. It aims to break down the border between artist and viewer and create a dialog.
