Il nome ITFROMBIT deriva dall'omonimo saggio di J. A. Wheeler, l'astrofisico noto per aver coniato il termine "buco nero".
Il Sound ITFROMBIT, che amiamo definire post electronic rock, è una miscela di suoni elettrici ed elettronici derivata da un insieme di stili che vanno dal rock alla teckno passando per il dub, l'ambient e l'elettronica anni'80, in cui noise e batterie campionate fanno da base ritmica alle chitarre elettriche di appoggio contrastato ai sintetizzatori che costruiscono ipnotici loop melodici per le ricercate linee vocali.

The ITFROMBIT's Sound, which we define electronic post rock, is a mixture of electrical and electronic sounds derived from a combination of styles ranging from rock to teckno through to dub, ambient and electronic 80's, where noise and sampled drums are according to the rhythm guitars supporting opposed to building hypnotic synth loop looking for melodic vocal lines.
