Rage 103.7

RAGE 103.7 is a low-power FM campus radio station that is programmed and managed entirely by students under the supervision of Dr. Bruce Mims. Our main purpose is to offer a hands-on laboratory for Radio Option majors in the Department of Communication. We focus on providing quality music, news and information services to the Southeast Missouri State University community as well as to listeners in the surrounding Cape Girardeau area.

The station as we know it today first came about in 2003 when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued our license. While the station had been broadcasting as a closed-circuit radio station utilizing the facilities of campus cable Channel 14 since 1994, broadcasting on the recently assigned FM frequency provides the station much greater coverage, more listeners and enhanced learning opportunities for Department of Communication majors.
