About Me

I'm 43 years old and married with 2 children. Well I say children but my daughter is 21 and my son is 18! I work at a local secondary school doing the admin in the records office-much less of a stress than my previous job-plus I get 12 weeks holiday! I'm a huge fan of Darren Hayes and will go to as many concerts as I can possibly get to- I even managed to get to Sydney for a week to see him in two concerts! I have been married for 23 years. My hubby very kindly indulges my obsessions (most times!)as it leads to a quiet life! He lets me buy VIP tickets to Darren's concerts and I wouldn't have been able to go to Oz unless he was cool about it. He's pleased that Darren is taking a break as it means less hassle for him and I'm not spending money that we can't afford!I am fascinated by the Aurora Borealis-the Northern Lights. On our holidays in Lapland over the last couple of years we have seen brief glimpses of a green 'flash' in the sky, but that's not enough for me! My ultimate dream is to take a trip to Tromso in Norway and book a trip with Kjetil Skogli to find the Northern Lights. He was the guide who took Joanna Lumley when they filmed her 'In Search of the Northern Lights' documentary. You can forget the Caribbean...just like Joanna I could 'die happy' if I had seen the amazing lights that she did....

Darren Hayes again. I know I've met him already but that doesn't matter-anytime I can see him again is good! I'd also like to meet my dad again,who died when I was 10. I'd like to meet him at a time when he was well-before his terrible illness took hold...so I could remember what he looked like,what he sounded like back then. All I can remember of him are the bad times.I'd like to show him his grandchildren-he never had the chance to be a grandad in this life. My children have never had a grandad as Brian's dad also died when he was a young child.
