Time for a New Update:
My name obviously is Kimmee. When we're young we don't realize all our parents compromise to make their children happy, I was fortunate enough to have two parents who allowed me to develop my creativity by giving me my first drumset when I was four and then allowing me to draw on any wall and closet door in any house we lived in. I have played for numerous cover bands but mostly original since I was 15.
So the deal is when I was 24 I had a near fatal car accident. When the shop replaced my brakes earlier that day they never added fluid back in the master cylinder. 250 stitches to reconstruct my face, eyelid replaced and a broken C2 and C3 and a good deal of bruises. Needless to say in knocked me back quite a few steps. I was out of work for two years, learned to read and add numbers again and had to learn how to play drums after I had taught myself how to play since my brain was tossed around a bit to say the least.
I say this to inspire people not for sympathy, because no matter what problems you have now or what you have been through in the past, should ever stop you from achieving what you want. If you don't have a dream....find one, it will make your life more exciting and force you to focus on something other than how bad you feel.
If you have a dream and for one reason or another you're not able to withstand what it takes to achieve it......Think again, feeling sorry for yourself will only depress you and make you fat. Find the focus, set the determination and move your ass...Only you can make it happen.
I believe in the "every thing happens for a reason," Not sure how long it takes for anyone to find the reason but eventually you will find it. So...if anyone needs a kickass drummer...... Shoot me an e-mail
