309 Click Bio:
Dolla Bill created the 309 Click in 2003 and added artists from the 309 area mainly Peoria, Illinois including Mailman, L Swillas, Q-Ball, & B-High. They put out a double disc called “The War is Over†at the end of 2003. They sold the cds out of their trunks and at local music shops. They sold quite a few and kept making music after that. Then as the years went by everyone went their own directions except for Q-Ball. In 2005 Dolla Bill and Q-Ball made a 309 Click myspace page and then in 2006 Dolla Bill met Millinoiz through myspace and added him to the 309 Click. Millinoiz was from Peoria, Illinois but is stationed in Spain for the military so all the songs were sent through email. 2007 came and Dolla Bill met Killa K on myspace and added him to the 309 Click. Killa K was from Peoria, Illinois and had multiple cds on the streets. The 4 came out with “World Wide Grindin†Vol. 1 in 2007. Q-Ball started fading in and out so Dolla Bill and Killa K took songs from the cd and started doing shows. In 2008 Dolla Bill met Lucky on myspace and added him to the 309 Click. Lucky was from Galesburg, Illinois and had a lot of underground success taking trips to the south and doing open mics and shows down there. As of 2009, Dolla Bill and Killa K are now working on a cd called “Ill Mindz Grind Hard†and it features big name artists such as Keith Murray, Juice from BWS, & Magno. Also the 309 Click is working on “World Wide Grindin†Vol. 2. Neither cd has a official release date but it should be this year. Dolla Bill, Killa K, and Lucky have a few shows already lined up for 2009. You can visit each of the artists myspace pages to check up on solo material along with updates on shows, mixtapes, etc.
