Lets see....I just moved to Texas from Southern California in March and although I am still getting used to the weather and the bugs I love it here. I made the choice to leave all of my friends and family behind to follow my passion of teaching children. Within a short period of time I have been able to accomplish that goal of mine. I started this school year teaching children with behavior problems and although it is a challenge everyday, I love my job and would not want to be doing anything else. Everyday that their behavior changes in the slightest bit, it puts a huge smile on my face.I am someone who has a good head on her shoulders and is very down to earth. I have been called the girl next door at times. I am very humble and love life. Depending on the situation that I am in, I can be shy at first but will warm up quickly. Other times, people cannot get me to shut up. :-) I am someone with many goals and I will make sure that at some point in my life, I will accomplish them..Overall, I am very family-oriented and try to go home to visit my family as often as I possibly can. Unfortunately with my schedule, the next time I will get to see them will be over Winter Break.
