Insurgency

Stay tuned for more wreckless debauchery and "going nowhere" antics...or is that Antix? Insurgency formed in 2001 with just Erik and Tosh. While they realized they sucked already, they figured to perhaps get a full time drummer. This is where long time asshole (or friend as some of you call it) Jack was recruited for drums. Goddamn, we were horrible. Anywho, eventually Jack left the band temporarily only to return a short time after. Up until recently Insurgency (formerly Weapon Of Choice) had never had a consistent bassist. To my knowledge we went through a few before we finally found this angry Korean, named Kyle. We were astounded by his talent and not to mention his impecible manners and good looks.Then we kicked him out for being unreliable amongst other things that I am far too decent of a man to mention.Anywho, staying in the vein of decency, we replaced him in the middle of our first east coast tour with Christos, another fine addition to Insurgency. Not to mention, I base this on his unfathomable thirst for alcoholic beverages. (Including Zima.) In December 2006 we released our first full length entitled Persist To Resist, followed by a second east coast tour. Which brings us to where we are today. Although I have gone to the trouble of typing this, ironically Jack is (and probably will always remain) the least dedicated and worthless of us all as we find ourselves pressed to get time to make the wall of sound that you can only find in empty clubs and cramped practice spaces...thanks for the interest and all that shit. -Erik and Insurgency-
