About Me

I'm hopeful. Created with the Kiwi Profile Editor

My Interests

Generally I am interested in Peace. I prefer a healthy diet and a little physical activity, give me soy or give me death. Art is my forte, love is my drive. I am not always good at either, but I press on because I must- does that sound dramatic- it is. Also, I follow Christ. The only constant The only hope.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, and Bryan Eugene at the edge of eternity.

Music:

Yes and yes.

Movies:

Oh I love the movies!!!

Television:

Naahhh! I Never touch the stuff.

Books:

Presently I am more than likely to be found reading something light and encouraging because life sucks so much of the time and I can't afford to read the sort of literature that depresses me. Children's books and folk-lore are amazing because they are so simple, so entertaining and still so profound. I reccomend The Little Prince. I mean I cried but it was a hopeful sort of sadness.

Heroes:

Mother Theresa who slew self desire and knew true joy and beauty in so doing. (is there anyone who better exemplifies the love and sacrifice of The Man Jesus)

My Blog

Oh for shame!

I've caved... I have compromised my true self for the sake of convenience. I am weary weak and wretched- trading my carefree gypsy lifestyle for the shackles of obligation and practicality. Oh divided...

Where I've been

Hello, it has been a while since I've written. There are a few things that have been on my mind. I have here written some pieces of those thoughts. I pray I am not terribly misunderstood. It's just a ...

A

A canvas is drawn. Brushes readied, one heavy with wet paint. Red is aflame of passion. Grief hangs weighty in the mind. There is a moment of silence between the change of songs. I stop and think...

Go on, raise your glasses!

Today I caught my reflection in the car window and (from the look of my hair and tattered jeans mostly) reminded myself instantly of Mick Jagger. I am twenty-four now. I remember being 19 and kn...

A suggestion

Maybe I'm growing up. I don't know. There are these things I am starting to give a rip about that I never even thought of before and the stuff that used to be so important is beginning to get smaller ...

My Stronghold

In my black and sapphire jeans I lay rested in your hammock twirling golden locks of hair and wondering how you got away. Life goes on and days keep snatching our memories from me. One bare foot dangl...

The carelessness of one click

They tell me to hold it in if I can. Whatever I'm thinking. They say a wise woman speaks few words. And so it is, but that's not me. I wonder how we all don't go insane, or bust into song an...

Rat ta tat tat

The sun is out. Good-bye clouds, good-bye lethargy and weighty burdens of days passed. I move I groove to the beat of another drum. I think on things high and lofty above that bellowing blow of yester...

My mortal flesh be silent.

Just a little glimpse. A friend or a friendly word. God is good, and He always is and He always was. I am learning about this world in which I live and in little ways I sometimes peer faintl...

Not for the faint of heart.

Where is it? Where is the peace that passes understanding? Where is the hope of glory? Where are the words of perfect comfort or just some of relief? Where are happy families, functioning families? Re...
