Bio:
Anno 2006. Four guys met in a local bar, got wasted, decided to make some music and formed a band called PHSY , a year later due to lineup change it was changed to Duskburn .
The first idea was to play slow, brutal death metal without any technical stuff, so after some rehearsals at the end of 2006. first demo was recorded so the band could see what they would be dealing with, soon first gigs were booked and the band started working on new more defining materials.
In 2007. the band recorded their second self produced, low budget/raw sounding 20 minute demo, titled Sewer Manure .
After some gigs playing the album live, not happy with the result the band decided to take a year long break from gigs and focused on defining the music approach and bettering the sound.
Within time the music and ideas matured and transgressed to be more noisier and doomily with atmospheric layers of negativity, widely accustomed with many Sludge/Doom and Stoner metal bands.Also the lyrics became more depressive and meaningful with themes that include criticism on humanity, misanthropy, apocalyptic and catastrophic revelations, opiate and alcohol abuse and social detachment.
Everything that needs to be said when somebody thinks about all the wrong in the world, banally - Homo sapiens.
Currently the band has finished recording a full length album titled Soldering The Seven Streams , it can be described as a great leap forward in means of effort, production and time spent on prerecording.
- The albums nine songs are packed with massive riffage which is pummeling through 40 minutes of epic slugfest, depriving humanity of it's accomplishments by delivering the lyrical bullet through the forehead of authority,religion and history.
Immediately after the completion of the new album, the band has begun with hard rehearsing, working on new songs and preparing gigs.
