It's a very informal fortnightly jam night at the Bird in Hand, Coton Hill, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Anyone can turn up and play. There's no set format, no preferred musical style etc - just a few simple rules (e.g. keeping the noise down whilst others are playing and playing just one song per turn). We have a small PA set up with 2 wireless microphones which get moved around depending on who is playing and where they're sat. There's no stage - we just play where we're sat!

The Bird In Hand can be found in Coton Hill. The landlord and lady have been there for over 30 years and always look after us very well.

Thanks to the few people who turned up and made it yet another great night. Unfortunately the night clashed with several other events in the town but great fun was had regardless.
