About Me

My mastering facility in downtown Toronto has been open for more than three years now. I (Fedge) am a mastering engineer with more than 14 years of professional experience in the recording industry obtained primarily through years at Reaction Studios as both the chief mastering engineer and as a recording engineer.

For years I have been giving serious musicians professional mastering services, for about half the cost of major mastering facilities. Most of my clients are unsigned at the time of mastering and I hope that my rates reflect the struggle of the independent artist.

I enjoy working with the independent community. Sometimes I think it's better to work with albums made outside the pressures of labels and the music industry. You get to listen to the music people want to express, not so much what others think people want to hear.

I recently listened to some of the work I did on older projects. The fact that much of it didn't make it to the top 40, didn't take anything away from them being great songs. I would like to thank those who have brought me great tunes to work on, and listen to.
