Can you say NURSES UNION? Maybe it's time. Look at California.
A CEO that is bold enough to grab the bull by the horns and correct the balance. A DON that insists that anyone with RN behind their name invest one day of their work week EVERY week caring for patients in their unit. That'll make a difference. A VP of Finance that requires accountabilty of all RN managers regarding their time. They are tardy, leave early, leave units short, take off when they want to, and are overpaid.
How bout it? With all the technology we have our waiting areas have none...
All the Presidents Men.... There's too many at the top, too much talk, propaganda & BS. Get down to basics, get rid of big titles & raise the worker bee wages.
Grays Anatomy...It's all about the digestive system. Feed us enough bleeping junk, in the end, it's all flushed out. Wake up NH. Our community has no alternative, Service Excellence is for regions with thick competition. What a waste of time, money & jobs.
PDR...When a med is given & there is an adverse reaction, every good RN know what to do to reverse it. Too bad that admins can't practice in the same way.
PPD, Brunswick, Docters Offices, Home Health, Columbus. They all have better policies, pay & benefits.
