SHORT BIO
Scott Brandon, aka DJ Scotty Styles, has spent well over a decade playing music for the enjoyment and enlightenment of others. Coming up in Detroit's factory scene in the mid 1990s he learned the underground first and adapted his abilities to the mainstream second. Known as a tastemaker who can both please and push a crowd, Scott has held residencies in Detroit, Boston, Ann Arbor and Chicago while also playing one-off gigs all over the midwest and east coast. Scott has an uncanny ability to blend genres and a keen eye for reading a room making him a versatile DJ that is at home playing to diverse crowds.
In his own productions Scott combines his many influences into undefinable, genre bending music that can both speak to the soul and move feet. His releases on Moodgadget records have only been a taste of what his sound is all about with much more to come.
