About Me

Well, what can I say? I'm a single, straight guy. 4o years old. No children. One cat. Good sense of humour. Interested in making friends throughout the world - I just hope that I'll make some? Who knows! I only live in hope...:o) Average looks ( sorry! ) I know I'm not Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise but I would hope that wouldn't be held against me? I'm currently working in a Pharmaceutical company. I have one cat after recently losing one to cancer. I love animals & don't like to see them suffering through neglect, etc.

My Interests

Guitars, music, reading, my cat. Hate politics & usually evade or avoid getting involved - I'm just not a political animal, sorry !

I'd like to meet:

I'm quite an ordinary guy, nothing spectacular in the looks department but I have an honest personality. Very Caring & affectionate, affable type of guy hoping to meet the woman of my dreams ( I seem to be dreaming a lot these days! ) but there are certainly lots of people out there in the big, bad world so maybe - just maybe - there is someone out there for me? Ever the optimist.... I don't want a supermodel I just want someone to care for, cherish & love for the rest of their life - is that to much to ask? I would love to meet someone because I'm a quiet soul who likes not to be the centre of attention... whoops!

Music:

God, I actually like quite a varied selection of music from John Mclaughlin ( My absolute favourite !!! ) to Sting to Steve Vai. I love Flamenco music & especially Jazz. I always wanted to John Mclaughlin - he helped make me the guitarist I am today. But I know I'll never be him ;O(

Movies:

Sci Fi, Adventure, etc

Television:

I really just watch TV for the news, Films, etc

Books:

Factual. Anything guitar based. Guitar making, maintenance, etc.

Heroes:

I grew up loving John McLaughlin. Even got to see him just the once - a moment I'll always treasure. Maybe I'll be able to see him again some day in concert.
