(preferably with the two t's)i wish i was the kinda guy who has had so many experiences (not all good) that his about me is the kinda thing that makes you just go "wow, this guy really has meaning in his life"
unfortunatly i'm not really that guy
i've had my share of good and bad
but there is just too much out there
i guess im kinda the opposite of what most ppl want at this kinda age
most ppl wana be really popular and not care what that does to them inside
whereras i kinda feel overexposed and on-show to those around me and that i loose out because of it
i would much rather have no friends and feel like my life was of intrest and difference
as far as im aware i dont fit in to any "high school gang".
someone once said in the last ever sk8er boi... but im not so sure about that. classify me if you want. It will make me feel like a belong. i might actually kinda like it.
The only thing i do in paticular that is of any specific "gang" is that in a rather emo fashion i write song lyrics. and music. i think that if i wasnt writing music might have tried to kill myself by now. I dont even know what i write about anymore.
Probably my upset at the sort of society we live in
not just on the sort of small level we encounter every day in school
but bigger political stuff toodespite virtually everyone thinking they are my friend. there are some ppl who mean way more than sometimes i think they even realise to me.Even ppl i dont even talk 2 anymore have had a huge effect on my life. its quite odd to think how some ppl can make such a huge difference in such a small time to your lifethe most change probaly happened in my life between october 2006 - march 2007. that was an amazing and turbulent time
things have slowed down now...
but im always heading in new dierctionsive finally realised what it is that angers me most in people
its people for some reason or other, think they r beta than other people

Zane Lowe and his belief that he is all cool and in with al the bands
etc...
so thats what drives me nutsnot only does my music, but the music of other means the world to me.
The essential artists in my life are probably something like.The Strokes (i actually want to live in new york they way they seem to make it sound. of course i went there and h8ed it. but id love to go in the winter. That would be way beta.i dont know what it is about there music. maybe that it makes me feel unstobbalbly cool. even though im not. I normally dont like the idea of a band with more than 4 members, not really a band in my view, more like a 1 or 2 leaders and some backup, but they tottally carry it off, cause i love nikolai :D. I also love the way they have 2 guitar players but neither is really lead or rythem. there both as important as each other, which is kl. every song by them gets to me in some way, and im obsesed by all their albums. i ve written so much about them but dont wana stop, but i guess ill leave it there now)Daft punk (ive only really been into these guys since seing them live last summer. But it was an amazing persormance. Berfore then i thought of myself solely as a fan of "rock music" yet this opened so many doors to me. Dance music is so... enticing. it just makes you get up off your feet and feel good. and these guys can do it like no other. they have only ever played like 4 uk gigs nd i was at 1, so thats quite a good feeling, i cant listen to them without grinning from ear to ear remembering what it was like seeing them live, and i cant watch footage of the gig without dancin around just a lil lol. they are so euphoric.)The Cribs (this is the artist that inspires me most lyrically. they sing about the sort of issues that intrest me. the nature of fame and celebrity. our reaction to it and how we react to those around us because of the music we listen to. I actually had the honour of metting their singer/guitarist ryan jarman once. we talked for about 20 minuets. i managed to get a conversation starter with him as i had met his cousin at a gig about a month and a half before. once the ice had been broken i relaised in hindsight that i had never actually directly mentioned his music... we discussed the concept of being in a band and what being in a band should be about. the only time i even mentioned his band is what i said how i got on the big screen while he was playing a gig. to which his reply was "aw awesome man". Musically, the rusty edges are so different from what other bands do that they sound like nothing else around)Just gona leave these cause i love it

Nirvana (i know it is cliched to be obsesed with Kurt Cobain. but i am anyway. everything about him is what i admire in modern culture. he was honest. raw and and emotional. and wrote amazing tunes. he also had an insanely gd sense of dress that was so unique and at the time completly redefined what "rock" was. no more was it ok to wear tight leather trousers and have 8 miuete guitar solos in your songs. it was about expressin how you feel about your life and the world around you and bein REAL. the rest of nirvana are intregral as well and their sound is so loud and raw that i cant keep away once i start listening. that said, the sings themselves are outstanding as well. i recently purchased there "mtv unplugged in new york" dvd. and so far have watched it at least twice a day, every day since i bought it. TBH they r pretty much the most essential band ever.well... the beatles. gd but overated. i say that aware that im actually a lil related to one of them.)wowi actually can have one of those really intresting about me'skl. enjoy hearing my life story :DPlain MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
