"I'm From The Netherlands, Some 'O Y'All Might Know As Amsterdam!"

He was born in Utrecht, but lived most of his life in Maarssen, MB.

MB to the fullest.
"We Done Know So We Don't Fold, Best Friends Knock Best Friends Hoes"
Never intended to be in the music industry Tha Rookie started to write
rhymes at the age of 16. At this time he considered it a hobby. After
a couple of months he was introduced to the art of producing which took
his interests to a whole new level.
His grades in school started to suffer the consequences of his new addiction.
He started to skip school which resulted in him dropping out. Eventually he
got back into the 9 to 5 knowing that he would one day be independent,
having his own record label.

Tha Rookie???
One of the most asked question is why this artist picked the name Tha Rookie.
His answer was quite funny. The first time Tha Rookie did a recording with
one of Utrecht's finest, the MC Graphic, Tha Rookie was only a freshman
with a career length of 2 months. He then decided to call himself Tha Rookie.
Not wanting to fall under the same category as other rappers, who have an
history of artist names on their list, Tha Rookie decided to keep his
initial name. When asked about his name he replies "Tha Rookie with
professional skills, you wanna take me on?"
"No Confirmation When The Answer Is Marked For Questioning"
MC
Stubborn, Crazy, Creative & Straightforward are the best way to
describe the style this particular MC.
Tha Rookie has a syle of his own plus the style of everyone else.
Not scared to takes changed and do something new. You like it or
you don't. Period!
"Prewritten Rhymes Don't Last Long In A Freestyle Session"
Producer
As a producer Tha Rookie has one rule.
N.S.A. = No Samples Allowed!
All of his tracks are samplefree. This is his rule as an
producer. His opinion is that you need to build from the ground up
and to not use someone else his blueprint.
At the end of the road he feels you feel like you've been blessed
with a new born baby instead of an adopted child.
"I Ain't Nice So Don't Judge My Rudeness"
Like his rhymes, you don't know what to expect when he puts down
a track. There are no rules except that 1 rule.
The beats can be described as "Dark beats with nice undertones"
"Wanna Divide, When All We Do Is Multiply"
