It’s finally here (and I’m not talking about spring).
Take Carnage’s first release.
Graciously hosted by our friend(s) at headphonica.net , available for your download right this very instant in time.
If no one knows, which I’m sure none of you really do since I tend not to talk about my experiments (as they are for me and me alone you science and math worshipping fornicators), Take Carnage is quite an experiment in and of itself. Stemming from the MFSTF days, it’s been a main course in the musical diets of myself and Mikey Daddona. He allowed me to travel to the far reaches of time and noise and bring back my discoveries, while in turn I allowed him to explore the deep dark secrets of rythmn and space. What’s been the most interesting thing of late, since he’s been in California and I’ve been here in Connecticut, is we’ve almost switched places and disciplines. It’s rather comical seeing this all come full circle, but I can’t say I didn’t see it coming. The cyclical nature of this life on Earth and how it can be observed in "universal truths" is something he and I have always been able to sense.
On with the show however - enough of this science slandering! There are more important tasks at hand! Go to headphonica.net , download our live session recorded in a basement in a small town called Canton to an audience of three, and don’t forget to give Andy and Darrell of WITW their due. You could not have asked for a better rythmn section.
