I am taking a year sabbatical from teaching to travel abroad from about 8 months. Here's what it's looking like: Leave Sept 5 for Cape Town, South Africa. Work my way up to Tanzania to Zanzibar and fly out of Dar es Salaam on Sept 29 to Bombay, India. From there I go south to Goa where I will be volunteering with street children for the next 2 months. I'll be going around Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. I fly out of Singapore Feb 28th to Cairnes, Australia and that is where my ticket ends:) I will hop around Australia, then over to New Zealand and then I will hopefully make a pit stop in Fiji on my way back to the States, arriving home on May 5th (ish). I will try to put some pics up and write a couple blogs. If anyone reading this is doing something similar and will be somehwere I will be at the same time- let me know!
