.. .. .. .. ..My Great GrandFather x4 and his family . His name was Morten Shelton born in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia 1840. According to the info i gathered through old census records ...he was a farmer. His son Ben, went on to be a Black land-holder in Harpers Ferry, WV in 1920. One of Ben's Children was Charlotte (my great grandmother). She achivied a College education/degree at Storer College in the late 1920's. Storer's was only one of a handful of African American colleges in Americia durning that era of an unsympathetic society. My family has ties to the Abolitionist and Underground Railroad movements, as well as John Brown . My BiRaciaL buTT wouldn't be here w/o them!!! Some Pretty COOOOL PEP's in my bOOk!!!!!!
