Influences: Shes strong and determined and she knows what she wants, Jenny K a british asain Londoner looks to give her spectators her own kind of music with her own personal touch. Her musical inspirations are vast and varied, like her sound, going from Missy Elliot to Skunk Anansie, with a little bit of Wiley on top...Jenny K moved to Paris in 2003 to pursue her studies. From the moment she arrived, she was hooked to the music scene; following the HipHop, Grime, Ragga and DnB movements. When she took the mic for the first time, she was encouraged by many artists well in the scene, notably Big Red and Jamalski.In November 2005, Jenny K first crossed paths with the Ego 6 crew at one of their club nights. Shortly after, she recorded her first track of many with the collective. This has been followed by serveral live perfomaces at Ego 6 « All Stars » and « Bassball Club » nights.Along the way, Jenny K has recorded and performed alongside various and artists including MJ Cole(UK), DJ Godfather(US), DJ Funk(US), Dexplicit (UK), Otis (UK), DJ Absurd (FR), Antisocial Crew (UK), Demolisha (FR) Swinging Monkeys Crew (FR) Beardyman (UK), Jahcoozi (UK/DEU), MC Purple (UK), Big Red (FR), Youthman (FR) Deadly Nightshade (UK)and many more...She has featured on the Grimey Frogz compilation, and the EGO 6 album, avaliable all over France and her debut mixtape HYPERACTIVE is out now on free download including guests such as Mad Killah, Youthman and Maeva....For now she is prepairing big things so watch this space!!!!!
