Dave Lee started DJing in 1999 and entered into the San Diego club scene in 03'. He is a true fan of ALL house music and enthusiastically projects this when playing his shows. He plays a range of music, from minimal electro and tech house to funky, bangin' electro house. Influences include Donald Glaude, Scooter & Lavelle, Kurd Maverick, Vandalism, Steve Angello, Sebastien Ingrosso, Alex Peace, Richard Dinsdale, Dirty South, Hook n Sling, Ben Macklin, Cedric Gervais, Deadmau5, Noir, Mousse T, Dim Chris, Thomas Gold, and all the Drai's DJs past and present, who he recognizes as giving him countless hours of audible pleasure and permanently rooting his love for electronic music. Also, he gives respect and praise to every producer and DJ of funky, nasty, give you a twisted face, turn you inside out, head exploding house music.
In addition to the music, talking to and meeting new people is something he looks forward to while playing his sets. So, if you're at one of his shows, don't be shy. Being a DJ also means being approachable; there shouldn't be a line where the crowd ends and the DJ begins. It should be seamless.
He's humbled by and gives thanks to everyone who keeps the DJ dream alive; all the friends, fans, and strangers who have supported him thus far. 2009... there are some great shows coming up; come check them out!
