DJ Snooze, born Daron on the southside of Chicago, has always had an ear for music. From listening to old reggae albums from his mom to growing up listening to the radio stations like WBMX,WKKC and WHPK, he has made his decision to be not just a listener but a part of this musical history.His dreams of being more in tuned with music was realized by a local singer by the name of Mikkhiel who brought him onto WHPK to mix on his show. He then became synonomous with the ever popular Renaissance Rhythms show hosted by Commander also on WHPK. He proceeded to increase his popularity with such shows as Friday Nite Audio on WKKC. More known as just a DJ, he has made an impression on the House Music community in Chicago, St Louis and Miami combined.Now is his time to shine on the producer side.Starting with the ever popular steppers genre he grooves you with his samples of musical tastes to form a smooth tempo for listeners.His style of mixing cannot be duplicated by anyone as of yet. The reason this is said is due to the crowd he plays for.Fans of events he has played has always said "He brings energy to house, something that hasn't been done in a while.He makes other DJs & producers alike wonder how he does it." This was said by the Mother of House, Mother Diva of Chicago.He has played with big names in the House Music game: K-Alexi, Steve "Silk" Hurley, DJ Skip, DJ Emmanuel (Chicago), DJ Andre Hatchett(Chicago), DJ Peace(Miami) and DJ Enoch IsREAL(St Louis). Truly a legend in House Music as well as Chicago.
