Kugiran ini diformasikan sekitar 2006 oleh Azeem.Azeem yang berminat tentang muzik bebas british.Selepas itu,Sham menyertai kugiran ini sebagai pemain drum.Azeem menjemput Zizy sebagai pemain gitar utama untuk menyertai beliau.Kugiran ini juga disertai oleh dua orang adik beradik,Rem-Y sebagai Pemain Keyboard/Pemain Sintesis dan Qay sebagai Pemain Bass.Akhirnya Five menyertai kugiran sebagai Pemain Tamborin dan Suara Latar.
Gig pertama kugiran ini sewaktu jelajah pelancaran album Bittersweet "A Perfect Match" dalam "A Perfect Tour" di Zonstar Bistro,Johor Bahru.Selepas gig tersebut,Azeem telah menukar posisi ahli kugiran.Sementara itu,posisi tersebut ialah Azeem-Vokalis/Rhythm/Tamborin,Sham-Pemain Drum,dua adik beradik,Rem-Y sebagai Pemain Sintesis/Suara Latar dan Qay sebagai Pemain Bass.Zizy-Gitaris Utama,dan akhir sekali Five-Kibod/Tamborin.Akhirnya,Zizy dan Five mengambil keputusan meninggalkan kugiran ini kerana kerjaya.Paktam menyertai kugiran in pada awal 2008 dan meninggalkan band ini pada awal 2009 kerana komitmen.Kugiran Seperti The Beatles,The Coral,The Smith,The Killers,The Upstairs,The Sounds,The Ohio Express,The Archies dan beberapa lagi band yang mempunyai runut bunyi seperti britpop,kugiran kegemaran kugiran ini(The Closed) adalah inspirasi kepada kugiran ini.Setelah membuat beberapa perubahan,kugiran ini memutuskan untuk bergerak secara 4 orang ahli sahaja.Ahli-ahli The Closed ialah Azeem(Suara/Gitar),Qay(Bess/Suara Latar),Remy(Papan Kekunci/Alat Sintesis/Suara Latar),Sham(Dram). Buat masa ini The Closed memainkan campuran genre bubblegum pop,brit pop dan synth-pop dengan sedikit suntikan new-wave dan electro-pop.

This Band was formed around 2006 by Azeem.Azeem who was intrested about brit indie.After that Mimie has joined this band as Drummer.Azeem pick Zizy as a lead guitarist to accompany him.This Band is also accompanied by two brothers,Rem-Y as Keyboardist/Synthesizerist and Qay as Bassist.Finally,Five participate as tamborine and back-up vocal.
This Band's first gig was at ZonStar Bistro,JB on Bittersweet tour album "A Perfect Match" in "A Perfect Tour".After that gig,Azeem has switch the band position.Currently,the position are Azeem-Vocalist/Rhythm/Tamborine,Sham-Drummer,the two brothers,Rem-Y as Synthesizer/Back-up Vocal and Qay as Bassist.Zizy-Lead/Back-up,and lastly Five-Keyboardist/Tamborine.Finally,Zizy and Five decided to leave the band because they wants to continued their carrer.Paktam participate this band earlier 2008 and left the band early 2009 because of comitment.Bands like The Beatles,The Coral,The Smiths,The Killers, The Upstairs,The Sounds,The Ohio Express,The Archies and some band that have britpop's soundlikes,was the favourite band of this band has being inspirations to this band.After makes some changes,this band makes decision to move along with 4-pieces line-up only.The Closed are Azeem(Vocal/Guitar),Qay(Bass/Back-up Vocal),Remy(Keyboad/Synthesizer/Back-up Vocal),Sham(Drum).Currently,The Closed plays genre mixture of genres bubblegum pop, brit pop and synth-pop with a new-wave and Electro-pop.
