About Me

I love the simple things in life. I love the sight of wildflowers blooming and feilds of white cotton. I love the mountains and the color of leaves in the fall. I love planting flowers and watching them grow. I love the feel of sand between my toes. I love the smell of freshly plowed peanuts, the air after a spring rain, and grass just after it's been mowed. I love bubble baths and a good book.
I’m easy to love, but hard to live with. I’m stubborn as can be, and I’ll fight for the people I love. I’ve never been perfect and I never will be. I make mistakes and I ask forgiveness. Sometimes I’m shy and quiet and most of the time I keep to myself, but I always want to be with those that I love. My faith is my greatest asset.

I am happily married to the most wonderful man I have ever known. He found me at a time when I was beginning to doubt all that I believed. He reminded me that there are still good people in this world that are willing to help others, and not everyone is out to hurt other people. He is my rock, my light, and my reason for living. It took me forever to find him, and I hope I have just as long to love him.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet my favorite authors: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, JR Ward, Emma Holly, and my favorite actress: Holly Marie Combs. I would also love to meet all the new friends I've made online this past year!

This past year I had the pleasure of meeting some of the nicest people I've ever known. It started out with a young man named Bucky Covington from American Idol Season 5. In May of 2006 Steve and I made the trip to Rockingham NC to the "Bucky Bash". It was at a "get-together" that we met Bucky and Rocky Covington. These two guys are probably the most down to earth and humble men I have ever had the opportunity to meet, as are their families. They are the same regardless of whether they are on stage, television, or in their own hometown! We will never forget the warm reception and down home hospitality we received in Rockingham!

As I said it started out with Bucky Covington; however, it turned out to be so much more. Through our similar interest in Bucky during American Idol, I met the most wonderful group of ladies. We were fans, then we became friends, and now we are more like sisters. I count each and everyone of you as a blessing in my life. Here's to many more years of celebrating not only Bucky and Rocky, but also the friendship we have found in each other.
