September 1995: Belgian right society SABAM confirmed, after examination, that the largest part of the melody of the 1995 song "YOU ARE NOT ALONE", that R. KELLY presented to Michael JACKSON, is identical to the 1993 VAN PASSEL composition "IF WE CAN START ALL OVER".The Court of Appeal in Brussels confirmed, September 4th 2007, that the composition "YOU ARE NOT ALONE" has to be considered to be - an imitation - of "IF WE CAN START ALL OVER".
