Born in Brandon, Manitoba and lived on a farm north of Forest for 7 years. Older sister, younger brother and caring parents. Moved to Portland, Oregon in grade 2. I began to fear people, felt unsure about myself and learned to defend myself. Moved to Garden Grove, California in grade 8. I felt akward, scared and lonely. In grade 10 a biology teacher taught me about evolution. I pictured myself in a box and being lowered into the ground. The end of life. I hoped that there was something more. In grade 12, two surfers shared with me about Jesus Christ. They said, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved." I did it, said it and it changed me slightly. Went to Austin, Manitoba to Circle Square Ranch to work for a few weeks. Thought I would have some fun. Met God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and was changed forever. Lost fear, lost loneliness, lost hopelessness, lost anger, lost defensiveness, gained eternal life. Since then I have lived for Jesus. I love God, love people. I have a beautiful family, work with youth and love life.
