The Imaginary Stigma was formed in 2002. The band was groping for its proper original sound and refining on it during several following years, deriving inspiration from the music of such groups as The Cure, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy and Depeche Mode music. The Imaginary Stigma began to perform in local clubs and pubs in 2005. The unique and fascinating sounding of compositions they submitted to approval still characterizes the band's considerable creative potential. In 2006 The Imaginary Stigma recorded a Demo. They prepared this appetizing cocktail according to to the classical gothic-rock recipe, mixing in multifarious electronic sounds and some other secret ingredients. At present the band keeps on giving live shows, often as a part of the Parties, arranged by Volgograd Gothic Community.
