My name is Steve Noski and I currently reside in Olympia, WA with my beautiful wife Jennifer. We've been married since December 2, 2005 and don't have any kids yet (oh, but we will one day, believe you me).
Random & cool Steve facts:
- I love Mountain Dew.
- I work as the General Manager at the Lacey Grocery Outlet.
- I can often be caught on XBOX Live playing Halo 3.
- I am ninja.
- I drive a beautiful blue Mazda6.
- I am a huge fan of the Super Smash Bros. series (go Kirby!).
- I am a licensed pastor with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel .
- I love graphic design and would probably be a graphic designer by trade (hence my MySpace page) if I hadn't decided to work with kids and become a writer.
Oh, what else.
Well, to be blunt I'm an aspiring author working on my first novel, The Awakening Saga . However, I'm not your typical fantasy novel writer. I am neither reserved nor melancholy, neither studious nor eccentric. Instead, I have a witty sense of humor and would rather be playing Halo 2 with friends than curling up with a good book. However, I do share at least one quality with more traditional authors: I am a deep thinker. Case in point:
Am I wrong because I choose to believe that there is more to life than meets the eye? Is it wrong to challenge the very core of who you are? Am I the only one to see that the path of least resistance isn't always, and is actually very rarely, the path that leads to true happiness? Far too many are content with how life leads them. Life begs for me to slow down. I choose to achieve the highest for my life, and I choose to learn from the mistakes of my fathers and peers, instead of making excuses and justifying myself making the same ones. When you realize there is no one else to blame for your life other than yourself, something happens inside and you are presented with a choice. To live the lie or fight for truth. The lies and misconceptions of our society, culture, and generation are so numerous and so blindly accepted that when those lucky few realize this fact, they are overwhelmed by the task of uncovering what truth really is. What is truth? The only ones worthy of knowing are the ones willing to seek it for themselves. I am willing. Can you say the same?
