About Me

My goal is to make music my life. I want to play in studios for friends and other musicians I admire, I want to tour in different countries, I want to play small clubs and I want to pack huge arenas! I learned to play bass as a sax player in a 12-piece funk band. Long story short, I was showing the bass player how to play his lines and decided that this instrument "spoke" to me. My first bass teachers were the masters of funk from listening to the James Brown Band, then in order to learn more I started to learn some jazz. I've done session time in a professional studio and have played out in rock bands for the last couple of years (which led to airplay of "DROWN" on ROCK105.3). All of these things have deepened my commitment to making music my life. I've played in San Diego and in LA, plus have done small vocal gigs throughout the western United States with various choral groups and musicals (including the rock opera TOMMY). Rock, Pop, Alternative, Funk, Jazz... if the music speaks to your soul and moves you, then it's good!
