About Me
My name is Wesley, and I'm a wild Chinese hamster. Well, maybe not me, but my great great great great grandfather was. I looked it up in the geneology library at the church of latter-day hamsters. He was a Sergeant Major in Genghis Kahn's wild chinese hamster regiment assigned to guard the Great Wall. My great great great grandfather accompanied Marco Polo on his travels throughout Asia Minor. My relatives on my mother's side were from Great Britian, and sailed to the New World aboard the Mayflower, earning thier keep as cabin-hamsters for the pilgrims. Life in America was not easy for them. Some worked for Thomas Edison, carrying hand-written notes to Mr. Watson before the telephone was invented. Some joined gangs of vicious gerbils in New York, before losing their turf to sewer rats. Others migrated to Chicago's East Side during prohibition and got caught up in public scandals as interns in Mayor Daley's office. But that was a long time ago. Today, my adoptive parents are raising me as their own. I go to kindergarten in the morning, and hamster day-care in the afternoon. I even get to go to the vet every 6 months for a check-up. I hope you like my space on myspace. I will upload some picture now 'cause mom's here to help me move the mouse.
