Im fact-fiend, the unusual tendency of humans to know all the things. As of the moment Im very interested with politics, governement, history and others. But when it comes in sports I like Voleyball, Tennis, Basketball and Billiards. Given a chance I wanna learn more about golf,and other outdoor games. I also like acting, dancing and singing a lot, though I dont focus myself in this field too much. Im a writer by nature but I still dont have the perfect opportunity for that even though I hav participated in different creative writing contest and won from it. I also like travelling a lot. Visitng places and seing people from different parts of the world. However, Im never done any outside the country travelling but Im hoping that one of these days Ill be able to do that. As far as the local places that Ive visited, I can surely tell that my country is one of the best places in this whole widee earth. Im also fascinated with computers and modern equipment. I also love reading current events paraphernalia as well as romantic novels. My reading interests varies depending on what is needed and what I believe is important. I also love reading self-improvement books to help me widen my knowledge and develop my personlaity. Im also a frustrated artist and photographer but I promise to focus with this when I got the time. I also like to partake int the business and economic fields of the government, but as of this moment Im still the best consumer , not yet a producer. Being a woman , I love making myself pretty and presentable. Im an avid reader of women magazines, avid viewer of fashion shows (either on television or in local shows) and an avidd fashion consumer. I love collecting make-ups, accesories and others stuff. Literally I dont like to be kept as a fashion victim coz I always like to be chic and classy. Behind all Im a woman of faith, I love reading spiritual- enhancing materials and profess my undying devotion to Christ.
I'd like to meet:
Sometimes I wonder what type of person would I like to meet either for friendship or for any romantic notions. But then a realization always hit me, that no matter what qualifications we would expect to anybody we met, they will never meet the perfections that we create. Maybe for some it happened but for me I believe thats a one-in- a million case.But given the chance of meeting people for friendship, I would like to be with somebody who would accept my past and is willing to be a part of my future.Same with the person who I will take my life with in a relationship. Maybe he shoould be dignified, educated and is wiling to develop himself to a whole human complete with integrity, love for life, optimistism, and is wiling to create a wonderful environment in his future home. He should know how to love and care and is not afraid to show it to other people as an example. Love, respect,faith and dignity.... some of the things that I wanna see with somebody Ill meet, but let me stress the fact that I dont intend to make this a requirement with all those who wanna take part of my life.
Music:
My interest in music varies, depending on my mood and on the latest. Usually, I love love songs. But I alos love alternative sounds. Sometimes I also like country music, and somtimes I like rock hip hop tunes. Some of the musicians I admire are Philippines proud like Jose Mari Chan, Gary Valenciano, Leah Salonga, and Regine Velasquez. Internationally i like the voice of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney and the likes of Monica and Brandy. I like Jennifer Lopez also and her packaging. Most of all I love both Cristina Aguilera's music and songs and hersef. I dont like Britney but I like her songs because of its commercial appeal. Madonna for me is still good though she had tried variations of pacjagin,style and music itself. When I heard Avril Lavigne, I kindda like her too because her songs sometimes reflects the unsaid feelings that I hav deep within me. Boy bands are cool even if Im not an avid typical fan.I like Boyzone,Code Red, N'sync, West Life and asia's phenomena 5566 and F4 group. I also like Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child even they have thier solo careers now. Pink's music is fine for me also.
Shes cool and punk. I love No Doubt especially Gwen Stephen. I also love Latin musics, like the sound of Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony. I was an avid fan of Enrique and Im happy I got tired of him. I like Linkin Park and Creed. M2M is cool also as well as Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton. I also love the music of the oldtime favorites Carpenters, ABBA, Air Supply. Music is food of the spirit.
Movies:
Im a movie- goer myself. The problem is that Im not good in remembering titles and actors. Some of my favorites are : The secrets of the yaya sisterhood, Pretty Woman, The Ring, Legally Blonde 1 and 2,Cruel Intentions, Anaconda, Crazy/Beautiful,I know whatyou did last Summer, Scream, Torque,Mary Kell's Frankenstien, Meet Joe Black and many many more. Most of all I love watching Romantic Comedies and suspense thrillers.
Television:
Television made me crazy sometimes. I like watching television a lot from the discovery channel to the disney channel. I like Philipine local shows like Mel and Jay, Eat Bulaga, S-fILES, and others. But i love watching CSI Miami, The Associates, The Practice, Ally, Oprah, The Seventy's Shows, Just Shoot Me, and many many more.Fear factor is cool also. But Im an avid viwer of H.B.O and Cinemax and Star World Channel.
Books:
I love reading but I dont rember many of the books I read, but certainly I love the writings of local writers like Martha Cecilia, Rose tan. When it comes to self-improvement books I like Dale Carnegie and David Johnson. Politics and Government, I admire former Senator Salonga for his writings. Ive been an admirer of Sidney Sheldon and Daniel Steel since highschool.
Heroes:
Im very proud of my Philippine National Culture thats why my all time favorite is none other than our national hero Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal. Internationally i like and admire Confucius, Jesus and Gandhi. I love also cartoon heroes like Sailor Moons, Batman, Superman and Spiderman. Daredevil is an additional hero for me. In reality among the living unsoung heroes nowadays, I have faith for the Filipino teachers and Filipino Overseas Workers who are now reacognized as the living symbol of heroism.
