About Me

Andy Reid plays clarinet and washboard, though singing is his strength. He loves to write/sing his own songs. He is a founding member of 'The Band Who Knew Too Much' (A jazz/folk band formed in 1990 and still regularly touring) and also plays gigs and dances with 'The Bush Remnants' (Australian traditional folk songs and dances). Andy loves to play music that swings, anywhere, anytime, day or night. When the opportunity arises you can also find him jamming along at either an Irish tune session or an old-timey session. Andy often plays benefits for worthy causes (eg. trade unions and environmental groups) in his community around Northcote in Melbourne, Australia.

The Band Who Knew Too Much at the famous Marquis of Lorne in Fitzroy - The song is I've Been Everywhere-featuring the late great Ronny Verhoeff

Sounds Like: I'm proud to say my grandfather was a member of the IWW and a conscientious objector around the time of the first world war in London. He lost his job, and was disowned by his friends and family because he wouldn't go to war for the Queen and British Empire. He moved to Australia and started a new and better life. He died at the ripe old age of 101 and 1/2. On his 100th birthday he sang 'Joe Hill' to all of us there. I hope to do the same. Dare to struggle... Andy Reid HERE IS A CLIP OF THE TRUTH, WHICH CAME TO ME FROM MY SON MAX (aka MC BLADEL). THANK YOU MAX
