The Band Who Knew Too Much at the famous Marquis of Lorne in Fitzroy - The song is I've Been Everywhere-featuring the late great Ronny Verhoeff
Sounds Like: I'm proud to say my grandfather was a member of the IWW and a conscientious objector around the time of the first world war in London.
He lost his job, and was disowned by his friends and family because he wouldn't go to war for the Queen and British Empire.
He moved to Australia and started a new and better life.
He died at the ripe old age of 101 and 1/2. On his 100th birthday he sang 'Joe Hill' to all of us there.
I hope to do the same.
Dare to struggle...
