Bass Player Looking for Commercial Oriented Power Pop Rock Project(s).
Have played in many bands, lots of studio experience, lots of live performance experience, pro gear and attitude. Have been playing bass for most of my life, but only gigging for last 15 or so. Started in heavy metal bands (as most of us do), then went alternative strange, then acoustic friendly beatles'ish, then alternative power pop, which is what I like the most. For the last few years, I have joined many short term musical projects, requiring me to learn many songs very quickly.
Prefer fun, positive and creative musical experiences, geared towards improving musicianship and professional achievements (radio airplay, label support, larger and larger clubs, bigger and bigger headlining bands, whatever). Relaxed environment, no attitudes, no offensive egos, no major drug issues, no flakes, no drama, good communication. Would like to practice once a week, gig once a month, and make significant efforts at promotion four times a year (or as popularity requires).
