"it's been a while since the first time that I've started to express myself through these streets and since that moment I've felt something that is hard to describe here in few words. Anyway after more than one year, at this point of my life and my music career I really need to say something about this wonderfull experience. Recording music and touring is all I wanna do in my life and I'm deeply thankful to all the people that are giving me the chance to keep this big dream alive. It's a very long road that I'm walking, (or sometimes even running), I still don't know where I'm actually going, like I really don't know where tomorrow my guitar and I will be. It seems hard to live like that and, well, there are somedays when it can be hard even to believe in the things that we're doing; but then when I just put everything off for a while, I realize that this is the only way of my life, and I feel lucky to have this gift, ' cause it's not everyone that gets to live all day, every day just doing what they really want to do! I always try not to forget this. I've learned so many things playin' in the street, more than I ever thought, but the most important thing is that I've understood that people are still thirsty for art, even in a world where everything is about money, power and technology, people still need something humanistic. Everyone wants to comunicate and if you just try there'll always be someone who will be glad to listen to your voice. Just speak up and do it loud without any fear. I do music 'cause I feel I've got something to say, and that's the reason. Every day music will still lead my way. I'll find new and interesting words, I'll grow up discovering new melodies and I'll scream them no matter where, streets or stages, I'll still be thankful to everyone who will be there to listen to my words and my notes, Without you this cd would never have existed."sincerely,Giovanni Bassano
