About Me

Steve grew up in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area during the times when South Florida, Commonly known as 'The Bottom' was making big waves in the rap game in the late 80's ,early 90's with it's style of rap music known as "Bass music". His first venture into producing music was the time he purchased a Roland Drum Machine and begin to learn the fundamentals of programming beats. Later he started attending classes at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in the Music and Video program and soon began producing and engineering studio recording sessions for various underground artist in and around Fort Lauderdale. It was there that Steve met a fellow student and they utilized the school studio to work on a demo track called "Boom I got your Girlfriend". under the name 'The Boys From The Bottom"and landed an album deal with Atlantic Records. Riding on the success of Boom I got your Girlfriend. they decided to do a comeback, Girl version of the song Called "Boom I got your Boyfriend". Steve then called on his young female cousin, Rosalyn Mc Call (M.C. Luscious) to perform the vocals. That song blew up overnight. Afterwards Steve founded Panther Records with a friend by the name of "Pimpin Azz" Al Graff. Under this partnership Al was the President of Panther Records and Steve was CEO. Steve disbanded the company in 1996 and moved to Dallas, TX.
