About Me

ATTENZIONE!
I feel as if I should have done this a while ago... This page is run by a fan and not the actual band members themselves. I just started this page so as to spread the word about this awesome local 717 band. If you have any questions I can try and answer them as best as I can, but if not you could try asking the first three band members in the "top 8" section below. Feel free to leave as much love, but not exceeding your amount set forth by your local ordinances, in the comments section of this page. Enjoi
About Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death... a band from lancaster, PA composed by seven (or six) kids from the area. they released a few demos and two seven inches. they're all doing there own thing now, a few living in philly, one in a band called Century, and some in school. Vincent Price was pretty much a bunch of friends who all hated each other.

Sounds Like: Clancy 6 / Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine Split 7" McCarthyism I liken this 7" to a boulder smeared with maple syrup and chocolate sauce: heavy and sloppy. Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine is a curious screamo/spazzcore band. They have a three-tiered vocal approach: one growls, another kind of talk/shouts and what I assume to be a young lady screams/shrieks at the top of her lungs, as if she is being murdered. Their three tracks are fast and violent, with chaotically distorted guitars. To be honest, though, it sounds like there's no bass guitar, so this is just way too "high end" and static-y for my taste. The Clancy 6 is a more traditional grind-metalcore band, complete with a vocalist owning a "grade A" growl/scream. The recording quality is way too sloppy and dirty sounding, and all of the instruments kind of blend together into one violent mess. The three songs they do here are pretty cool, but easily forgettable. The artwork of this 7" takes the cake. The prominent color is a kind of burgundy, with blood red writing, listing the band names, below a lovely row of skulls. Anything with skulls and exclusive hues of red gets my vote! Not only is the artwork nice, but you also get the songs pressed onto a beautiful slab of clear wax.In short, this is violent and rockin', and features lovely artwork: pick it up. McCarthyism: http://www.mccarthyism.org Daniel Mitchell -Ink19 -CLANCY 6 are a chaotic screamo band. You could draw parallels to mid/late-90’s bands like REVERSAL OF MAN and HASSAN I SABBAH. The songs are super fast with lots of blast beats and screaming. The lyrics are pretty cryptic, sounds like something you might hear from a really stressed out pre-med student. VINCENT PRICE’S ORPHAN POWER DEATH MACHINE are one of those bands that you hope is just a joke band but deep down you know they’re not. They’d fall under a lose category of screamo meets grind, sort of like LOVE LOST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN at times but then all of a sudden they’ll break into these really “sassy” parts along the lines of something like BLACK CAT 13. They have 3 vocalists, one for super high screams, one for mid-rang screams, and one for super low growls. The songs are actually pretty hard to listen to. The lyrics are random nonsense. CLANCY 6 make this record worthwhile. This is the type of record you might want to sample before you buy.
