WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL MYSPACE OF LaPret!
THE DEBUT ALBUM FROM LWE/SOUTH CAPITOl/FO REEL ENT RECORDING ARTIST LaPret is due in stores late-April or Early May 2010.
LaPret on "THE L WORD: LIFE BEFORE AFTER":
"I'm very happy to be back in the studio OFFICIALLY! Production for the new album has begun and will continue into early 2010. We expect to have the final product ready by March 2010 and in stores everywhere worldwide by May 2010. There will be both a digital-version and a limited edition hard-copy CD version. Eventually, fans can by the CD-format anywhere by July 2010. This will be my first recording project that fans can go to the stores and purchase. However I’m going to need a lot of support from radio stations and my fans to help make this possible. There will also be a tour and lots of press!”
LaPret on the Album Title:
“The “L Word” has many meanings. But, in this case it’s three, “LaPret”, “Larry” and “Life”. This project features a much more personal side of my life, than ever before. I’m introducing myself to the world. There’s Larry who’s emotional and longing for acceptance and fighting to be a good person. There’s LaPret, who likes to carry the conversation, entertain the audience and at the same time he can be a real jerk. Finally, there’s “Life” the point where these two halves make a whole, and their not easily fitted. -
LaPret on “What to Expect”:
“To be dazzled and to become a fan”…“On this album, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll grow with “us”. I talk about “Life Before After”, where my life stands now and will be after this album is released will be much different than now and this recent year. I’ve experienced a life changing event and I’m maturing into a grown-ass man. I kind of smell myself a lot on this album but it still has that “positive Rapper’ vibe. It’s real and it’s fitting. There are two club tracks in the mix as well.” says LaPret.
